DJ Rafiq on Traktor

As a Traktor convert for the last year, I am always looking for ways to make my shizzle stand out. I still love and buy vinyl but you've gotta move with the times. Anyway, the Maschine Groovebox is definitely on my Christmas most wanted list. Just check Rafiq's technique in this vid. Too dope...

Kamaal the Abstract

My God, at last one of the greatest albums of all time has finally been released. Nearly nine years after Tip put this Dilla produced masterpiece together with the likes of jazz legends, Kenny Garnett, Gary Thomas and Kirk Rosenwinkel, 'Abstractions' finally sees the light of day. This was the LP that inspired much of Outkast's seminal 'Speakerboxxx / Love Below'. And they said that jazz and rock tinged hip-hop couldn't work in the mainstream! Anyway, just do yourself a favour and trust me on this one, available to download and buy right now money!!!
